    The term “locality” has been accorded a broad connotation since the case of Viita v. Fleming, 132 Minn. 128 , , L. R. A. 1916D, 644, which, as early as 1916, recognized that because of expanding means of communication and inter-professional information the geographical location of a physician’s practice is no longer an essential element in determining the standard of care by which a defendant is to be judged.
