That a municipality may waive its immunity was established in Howard v. Village of Chisholm, 191 Minn. 245 , , and in Holen v. M. A. C. 250 Minn. 130, 138 , 84 N. W. (2d) 282, 288 , this court held it to be well settled that a legislature may cure, by retrospective act, irregularities in the exercise of power which it has conferred on a municipal corporation.
