In State v. Lee , , 899-900 (Minn. 1979), we found no prejudice when the district court denied a defendant's request for a heat-of-passion manslaughter instruction, the court instructed the jury on second-degree and first-degree premeditated murder, and the jury found the defendant guilty of first-degree premeditated murder.
